Meet with Temple alumni currently in the fields of Engineering, Science, and IT to learn about transitioning from college to a career in those industries. The Career Center, in association with the College of Engineering and the College of Science & Technology is hosting this Career Talks event.
Moderator: Dr. Robert Ryan
- Associate Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Temple University and a licensed professional engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Guest Speakers:
Dr. Jamie M. Bracey, PhD
- Dr. Bracey is a higher educator, and consultant to improve STEM learning and achievement in urban communities. Dr. Bryce has years of experience across institutional, corporate, government, nonprofit, higher education and small business startups.
Jim Guare
- Mr. Guare has served on the CST Alumni Board as President and is a former medicinal chemist at Merck & Co., where he was instrumental in the development of Crixivan, a major breakthrough in HIV treatment.
Sina Adibi
- Mr. Adibi is the Vice President of the CST Alumni Board. Currently, he is a Senior Technology Product and Services Executive and serves as the General Manager and member of the Board of Directors of Artezio.
Terry Lydia
- Mr. Lydia is a retired chemist for Merck & Co. and volunteers with the Owl to Owl program, working with future Temple University STEM graduates.
Amanda Fuller
- Upon graduating Temple in 2011, Amanda began working for Gilbane Building Company as a Management Trainee and has since worked her way to the title of Project Engineer III. She has worked with various clients around the Philadelphia area such as Temple, Drexel, Virtua Health System, Ocean Spray, and JP Morgan and has managed up to $25M worth of construction simultaneously.
