As online, flipped, and hybrid class formats grow in popularity, the number of faculty creating video lectures is increasing. In this two-part workshop, we will explore both the pedagogical and technological aspects of creating engaging video lectures for students to view asynchronously. Part one focuses on specific methods and activities instructors can use to create more interactive experiences in video lectures and why they are important for student learning outcomes. In part two you will learn to use Camtasia Relay to create mini video lectures for your courses.
Participants are expected to attend both sessions.
