Lynne Ewell, ENG ‘86 (Electrical) moderator (Co-founder, Prism Engineering) Lynne is the co-founder of Prism Engineering, Inc. Upon graduating from Temple University with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, she joined a small company and began selling cad software. In 1991, she and her husband, John Ewell, started Prism Engineering, Inc. which was recently acquired.
Lynne was also inducted into the Temple University Women’s Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame and she is currently serving as the chair of Temple University’s College of Engineering Board of Visitors.
Maria Heiman, ENG ‘90 (Civil & Construction Eng Tech) Maria is Project Manager for Gilbane Building Company and currently working on the restoration of a 1926 building that will be turned into an Aloft Hotel in Center City Philadelphia.
Jo Rooney, ENG ’80 (Civil & Construction Eng Tech)Over the past 35 years, Jo has amassed comprehensive experience in software development, working on various projects in a variety of industries, ranging from structural analysis and weather radar programs for UNISYS, to customer relations management (CRM) software, to document management software for the pharma industry, to digital video system software at ARRIS, formerly Motorola.While at Temple, Jo participated in ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), WEST (Women Engineering Students at Temple) as well as being a member of the women’s track team.
