One-day workshop introduces students to Adrienne Weiss's technique for getting great performances.This full day workshop will begin with an interactive lecture on the Ten Essential Tools for working with actors, then move on to workshopping a curated selection of scenes written and directed by students to gain hands on experience of the techniques.
Adrienne Weiss has taught the craft of directing actors for nearly twenty years, both at the NYU and Columbia University graduate film programs, and in private workshops in the US and abroad. Adrienne also works as a directing coach for film and television. Recent gigs include episodes Girls, Orange is the New Black, a web series for Nike, and Murder of a President for PBS.
