Fulfill is a micro-granting initiative inspired by community-based organizations such as Sunday Soup and Philly Stake. For a $15 - $25 dollar donation you will be served a delicious, locally sourced meal in dishware made by the Tyler School of Art Ceramics and Glass Departments with napkins created by the Fibers & Materials Studies Department. All of the money raised will be evenly re-granted to three non-profit orgainizations: Building 21, La Finiquita, and Morris Animal Refuge. The dishes and napkins are yours to take home as a memento of the event.
Building 21 is a nonprofit organization that is reimagining secondary schooling to meet the needs of all learners.
La Finquita translates as “little farm.” Located in South Kensington, this urban farm grows food for a food pantry and soup kitchen, operates a weekly farm stand, and offers classes on organic gardening.
Morris Animal Refuge offers innovative and high quality care for cats, dogs and other small animals. The Refuge provides a full range of preventive, protective and adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned animals.
Many thanks to the award-winning Philadelphia restaurants who are donating food: Bar Ferdinand, East Girard Gastro Pub, El Camino Real, Jerry's Bar, Johnny Brenda's, Interstate Draft House, Las Cazuelas, Metropolitan Bakery, One Shot, and Standard Tap.
