Art Makes Sense. How is sense made? How is it produced? Fortunately there is sense, and there are people making it, remaking it, and occasionally destroying it. That's art. Come check out Ocotillo at Stella Elkins Tyler Gallery to look around and see for yourself!
Curated by Tyler graduate student Jonathan Dedecker, this exhibition brings many artists work from New York, Philadelphia, Los Angeles, London, Beijing, Stockholm, Minneapolis, New Orleans and more into the same room for a chance to foster curiosity and pose important questions about contemporary art in 2016.
The show runs January 11 - 21 in Tyler's Stella Elkins Tyler Gallery (open Wednesday - Saturday 11 am - 5 pm). The reception will be Friday, January 20 from 6 - 9 pm. There will also be an opening coffee & cookie reception on Wednesday, January 11, at 11 am, and another coffee & cookie reception on Wednesday, January 18 at 11 am.
