Are you hoping to turn your dissertation into a book? This workshop will discuss some of the issues you should consider before you try to publish your dissertation. We will also offer practical tips and advice for getting published by a unversity press. Participants will gain a solid understanding of copyright, open access, and embargoes. They will also learn how to write a compelling book proposal, how to approach a publisher, and how to avoice common first-book mistakes.
