This year’s conference features a speech by Lu Ann Cahn, veteran journalist and School of Media and Communication's director of Career Services; three hard-hitting presentations on thriving in today’s changing world from Executive Vice President of Wilco Electronic Systems, Brigitte Daniel, CEO of Linda’s Stuff, Linda Lightman, and entrepreneur/ restaurateur, Nicole Marquis; an interview with Emily Bittenbender, managing partner, Bittenbender Construction; and inductions of three Hall of Fame honorees: Danielle Cohn, SMC '95, senior director of entrepreneurial engagement at Comcast, Kristin Gavin, CPH '09, director and founder of Gearing Up, and Anne Nelson, FOX '80, owner and president of Factor3 Consulting.
These dynamic women will share their lessons of hard work, determination and adventure, providing insight and suggestions on how to swim and survive in the world of start-ups.
The conference is free and open to the public.
