1st Friday with Faculty: Grief in Emotionally Charged Times

    College of Public Health

Explore the intersection of grief, ritual, and emotion through the lens of social work. This session examines how practitioners can respond to heightened vulnerability during culturally significant times.

Grief is a natural response to the loss. Birthdays, anniversaries and holidays often magnify feelings of grief, making these times challenging. This webinar will examine culturally responsive strategies, trauma-informed practices, and the role of social workers in helping people to honor their grief and plan for emotionally charged times.
