Convocation at Temple University is a tradition that occurs annually at the end of Welcome Week. This formal ceremony celebrates the arrival of the new class of undergraduate students, freshmen and transfers. The university president, provost, president of the faculty senate, student body president and alumni association president welcome the new class and mark the beginning of their academic journey.
Convocation will take place on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the The Liacouras Center.
Schools and Colleges will be holding mandatory student meetings prior to the Convocation ceremony. Please check below to see when and where your school/college meeting takes place.
