The American College of Academic International Medicine will be hosting the AIM 2019 World Congress at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine July 26thto July 28th2019. The World Congress will be a premier international conference with attendance/participation from members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations (UN), Doctors without Borders (MSF), the Red Cross, Consortium of Universities for Global Health (CUGH), the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)/Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research (FAIMER)/Global Educational Exchange in Medicine and the health professions (GEMx), and other valued academic international medicine speakers and organizations. Multiple members of the Temple community (physicians, trainees and medical students) will be participating, and the themes of the conference are centered around Global Leadership and Health Equity. The 3-day event will include a global leadership course, narrative medicine session, learning tracks dedicated to professional development and academic international medicine, scientific abstract sessions, an institutional global medicine sharing session, and other events which can be found at the following website:
