Hosted by the Wellness Resource Center, Feminist alliance, and Temple University Libraries
“A Better Man” is a film about accountability and healing. It follows one survivor as she documents “a personal experiment” with an abusive ex-partner in the hopes of gaining deeper understanding of their relationship and his behavior. The filmmaker shares a personal search for justice as a way to contribute to the struggle to end domestic violence. “A Better Man” empowers audience members to play new roles in challenging intimate partner violence and create social change. Please note this film contains detailed conversations and descriptions of violence. A discussion will be held after the film and on-site confidential resources will be available to attendees.
