As the title suggests, Ta-Nehisi Coates' unflinching look at the exploitation of bodies and how that is expressed to the next generation serves as the fertile ground from which this exhibit emerges. Utilizing historical through contemporary sources and muliple forms of media, this exhibit put on through a collaboration between the Intellectiual Heritage Program, Temple Contemporary, Tyler School of Art, and Amalgam Comics and Coffeehouse, the exhibit explores American representations of Black Bodies as presented to children throughout time.
