AI and Creativity

    Temple University Libraries

In the past year, new tools relying on artificial intelligence have altered how people are able to create music, images, stories, and other artistic artifacts. Relying on such tools raises unprecedented questions. Is using AI to make art a creative act? Does it matter if we cannot tell if a work of art was created by a human or a machine? Are there ethical or legal questions associated with relying on large datasets of works often of unknown content? What impact might these tools have on current artists? Join us for a thought-provoking exploration of some of the implications of these technologies.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session.

This workshop will be recorded. Register to attend the live session or to receive a copy of the recording.
