Join Collins Nursery of the Ambler Arboretum Manager Sam Makler for the Arboretum’s first workshop on native plant propagation on Sunday, November 17, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Register online here.
This workshop will offer a hands-on approach for growing various native plant species. From oaks to milkweeds, participants will collect seeds around the Ambler Arboretum and learn practical skills for growing a variety of healthy native plants. The workshop we will cover seed collection, seed sowing and seed storage. This will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn how to ID plants that have gone to seed, the best methods for collecting seed and how to properly sow and store the seed once collected.
This program will be held in the Woman’s National Farm & Garden Visitors Center.
