Discover the art of nature journaling. This two-part program is designed to inspire you to look more deeply into the natural world, and record your discoveries with words and drawings. The first part begins with the basics. After exploring on our own, we’ll share journal pages in the second part. Through observation and investigation, we can discover nature’s stories together.
Our speaker, Pam Ruch, is a horticulturist and writer based in Emmaus, PA. She managed the grounds at Morven Museum & Garden in Princeton, NJ, for 19 years. She writes for several online and print organizations, including the Home Garden Seed Association. She holds a BS in Horticulture from Temple University and an MS in Environmental Science from Green Mountain College.
Please note this is a two-part workshop. Part one will be held on May 11 and part two will be held on May 18. After you register, we’ll send you a confirmation email with a Zoom link to the event. The Zoom link should be used for both workshops.
Join us for talks and workshops highlighting sustainability, women’s influence in horticulture and the healing power of plants during this monthly speaker series. Information: kathleen.salisbury@temple.edu or 267-468-8400.
