The Ambler Arboretum is more than just pretty flowers and big trees; the Ambler Arboretum rocks! We have a unique collection of boulders, rocks and stones all over campus. From building materials to garden ornaments, learn more about the different types of rocks you can find throughout the gardens. Join us on National Geologists Day to see another reason why the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University rocks.
Join tour guide Ambler Geology Professor Natalie Flynn on Sunday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Ambler Arboretum. Professor Flynn, teaches courses such as Disasters: Geology vs. Hollywood.
The program is pay-what-you-will. We ask that you make a donation to the Arboretum you’re comfortable with. Offering programs in this way allows everyone who’d like to participate the opportunity to do so.
