The Temple Ambler Campout is returning to campus this fall! Join us under the stars for a night of camping, tours, s’mores and more from 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27 through 10 a.m. Sunday, September 28. Listen to campfire stories from Chief Adam “Waterbear” DePaul, Tribal Storykeeper and Director of Education of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania! Stargaze with the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers and the Bucks-Mont Astronomical Association! Go night orienteering with the Delaware Valley Orienteering Association!
Take flight with the with College of Engineering’s flight simulator! See an outdoor pit firing by the Tyler School of Art and Architecture Ceramics Program! Learn about creepy crawlies from College of Science and Technology professor Dr. Chris Agard! And there is still more, which we’ll share soon!
During the Campout, campers will also have a chance to become citizens scientists and take part in a BioBlitz! Join the Ambler Arboretum and the Temple Ambler Field Station to identify and record all of the living things you find on our campus trails! What will you discover?

The campout is an all-weather event and will be held rain or shine. Pets, alcohol and smoking are prohibited.
The Temple Ambler Campout is being held in partnership with the Temple Ambler Field Station, the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University, and Recreation, Outdoor Education & Wellness at Temple Ambler.
