Temple Ambler EarthFest is celebrating 20 years of providing fun environmental education opportunities with two big events in October!
Join us under the stars for a night of camping, tours, s’mores and more!
Temple University Ambler EarthFest, the Temple Ambler Field Station, the Ambler Arboretum of Temple University, Recreation, Outdoor Education & Wellness at Temple Ambler, the Temple University Office of Sustainability, and Temple University Adventure Bound will host the Great American Campout in person for the first time since 2019 from 2 p.m. Saturday, October 21 through 10 a.m. Sunday, October 22.
Spend the night tent camping, going on nature walks, taking part in camping workshops, stargazing with the Delaware Valley Amateur Astronomers, listening to amazing campfire stories from Chief Adam Waterbear DePaul, Tribal Storykeeper and Director of Education of the Lenape Nation of Pennsylvania, make s'mores at the campfire, and much more!
