On September 1, 2021, the Temple Ambler Campus was forever changed when the remnants of Hurricane Ida spawned an EF2-level tornado that damaged the campus and our surrounding communities.
On Thursday, September 1, please join Temple University Provost Gregory Mandel, Temple Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Ken Kaiser, and representatives of the Ambler Campus community to remember what took place one year ago, reflect on what has happened since, learn about the restoration work taking place on campus, and recognize the efforts of so many who have contributed to the recovery.
This event will also include a long-delayed ribbon cutting for the Temple Ambler Field Station Research Array, which was originally scheduled for September 1, 2021.
A light breakfast will be available at 8:30 a.m. The event will also include tours of the campus and Ambler Arboretum following the ceremony.
