Join the Ambler Campus Office of Student Life for a screening of Liberate, a short film created by Temple University alumnus Gabriel Makoul Goodge.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. Light refreshments will be available. When growing up with mental illness, struggling with love, family, and high school itself, proves to be too much at times.
Liberate tells the story of a youth who is going through many of the troubles that young high schoolers face. This story captures a boy who is pushed to his limit emotionally and has to attempt to cope. With a broken home life, confusing relationship and no friends, he can’t last much longer.
This event is sponsored by Temple University Ambler, the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Belmont Behavioral Hospital.
