Annual Disability and Change Symposium

College of Education and Human Development
    Temple gate

To help ensure the health and safety of our community, the March 25th Disability and Change Symposium is now a free, online mini course.

The Disability and Change Symposium will take place as a free, online mini course. The theme of this year’s symposium, “Combating Implicit Bias: Employment,” explores how implicit bias may contribute to employment rates that are lower for persons with disabilities than those for peers without disabilities. All materials will be available for free online on March 25.

The goal of the annual Symposium is "to create conversation that transcends any one-dimensional depiction of people with disabilities, and foregrounds the multidimensional lives of our speakers - as writers, educators, performers, and advocates."
