Philadelphia native, potter, and activist, Roberto Lugo, will be speaking at the Temple Performing Arts Center on Thursday, September 29th at 5:00 p.m. Roberto grew up in Kensington and left to attend the Kansas City Art Institute (BFA), Penn State (MFA), and is now faculty at Marlboro College in Vermont. Recently, his career has taken off as he has been making work that addresses issues of race, class, history, and pop culture. He is a dynamic speaker that tells an inspiring story.
