Basics of Map-Making with QGIS

    Temple University Libraries
leaves in front of Charles Library

This three-hour, single-session workshop offers an introduction to map-making with the open-source QGIS software (qgis.org). The workshop is aimed at students and faculty, anyone who needs to include maps in articles, term papers, or reports. After the course participants will be able to create simple maps.

Please make sure to have QGIS installed on your computer before the workshop.

This workshop will be offered as an online session via Zoom. You must register for this workshop to receive the Zoom link via a confirmation email. On the day of the workshop, use the link to join the session. Participants do not need a video camera or a microphone, but will need an audio connection to hear the instructor.

Contact Marcus Bingenheimer at bingenheimer@temple.edu with any questions.
