The community immediately surrounding Temple can sometimes feel like a very different and dangerous place from campus, known more through TU Alerts than direct experience. However, the community is engaging and vibrant, with tremendous people working every day to improve the lives of their neighbors.

Come meet Sister Sylvia and those who built New Jerusalem Now to reach some of North Philadelphia's forgotten. New Jerusalem Now is a Non-Denominational Spiritual Community committed to helping people to recover from "mind-altering chemicals" and to achieve "stability in recovery". 

This discussion would fit well with such themes as ethics, social inequity, faith/religion, and social responsibility.
