Untold Stories: Q&A with Daphne Di Cinto
Featuring a private screening of the film “The Moor"

Screenwriter, director and actor, Daphne di Cinto, will privately screen her new short film that speaks about the untold story of Alessandro De'Medici, historical and political Black figure in Italy. There will be a Q&A at the end of the film where the screenwriter will also speak about the untold story of Alessandro De’Medici.
Daphne di Cinto is an Afroitalian screenwriter, director and actor. She is an alumni of The Actors Studio Drama School and she is in the cast of Netflix’s Bridgerton. Il Moro, her directorial debut, has won Best Italian Short Film 2021 at Fabrique du Cinéma Awards. She writes stories about migrations, racial identity, the female gaze.
