Join us for a book signing and talk with Dorothy Coles, author of The Hantons, The Randolphs, and Me: My Family’s Journey from Slavery in the Deep South to Prosperity in Philadelphia, PA. Coles will share her journey to find her great and great-great grandparents. She will also discuss the history of notable Black Americans through stamps from her Philatelic Collection, which is housed in the Blockson Collection. Included in her presentation will be stamps designed by Black American artists and those historical individuals who have been honored with more than one stamp issue.
