Women often cite intimidation and lack of knowledge as factors that prevent them from engaging in weight training activities in the free weight area of a fitness facility. This workshop will be led by a few of our female personal training staff. This workshop will not only educate women on the importance and basic techniques of resistance training with free weights, but is also designed to hopefully increase the self-efficacy and self-confidence of women who would like to start resistance training with free weights. Register at the Aramark Student Training and Recreation (STAR) Complex, Weight Room front desk January 14th through the 28th. Space is limited so register early.
