    When Petty Offenses Become Federal Crimes
    Guest Speaker: Judge Karoline Mehalchick, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania

    Magistrate Judge Karoline Mehalchick presides over misdemeanor crimes committed in National Park Service units situated within the middle district of Pennsylvania, which includes Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and Gettysburg National Historic Park. She will discuss current challenges in how we conceive of the relationship between citizenship, the law, and our national parks.
