Join us for Temple’s fifth Celebration of Globalization, a concert and awards ceremony. The evening will honor Global Philadelphia Board Chair Emeritus John F. Smith (Global Philadelphia Award Winner), who was instrumental in making Philadelphia the First World Heritage City, and Temple President Richard M. Englert (Global Temple Winner), who has ensured that Temple’s diversity is as much global as it is local.

The orchestra will perform Chen Gang and He Zanhao’s historic “Butterfly Lovers’ Concerto,” the first violin concerto in Chinese classical music, and one of the most popular following the Reform and Openness movement.
