Children’s Media Career Symposium

    Klein College of Media and Communication

    Join the Center for Media and Information Literacy at Temple University for its annual Children's Media Career Symposium.

    The event is open to students and others interested in careers in children's media.

    The evening will feature two moderated panel discussions:

    • Panel #1: "Trends in the children's media industry"

    • Panel #2: "Creative ways to jump-start your career in children's media"

    Panelists include:

    • Amy Kraft, director of development and children's programming, Pinna Podcasts for Kids 

    • Linda Simensky, head of animation and scripted content, Duolingo Studios 

    • Diondra Brown, content and curriculum manager, Twin Cities PBS 

    • Natalie Engel, senior director for children’s programming,, PBS Kids 

    • Stephanie Sosa, president, Children's Media Association, freelance producer/writer  

    • Kevin Clark, The Kevin Clark Group, former head of preschool animation, Netflix Kids   

    • Mariana Diaz Wionczek, Ph.D., executive producer, Dora the Explorer reboot
