Do you have climate anxiety? Are you looking for a safe space to share your feelings about the climate crisis?
The Office of Sustainability is hosting Climate Cafés, a new peer-led series this semester to address these topics. These sessions are facilitated by EcoLeads to give the Temple community the opportunity to unpack the complex feelings that accompany engaging with environmental issues. Join us to talk about your feelings with people sharing the same eco-grief as you.
These small-group sessions will be held at different times throughout the semester, accompanied by free food and empowering discussions.

A Climate Café® is a space, for people to get together to talk and act on climate change. Climate Cafés® are informal, inclusive spaces where everyone is welcome to join the conversation and get involved. Often they are local in their focus, connecting with wider climate action nationally and globally. Climate Cafés® are apolitical and non-judgmental. In communities, workplaces or on campuses, a pop-up Climate Café® may be a place that offers an opportunity to get together for a regular chat and update on climate ideas and action. Our Cafés will meet on a biweekly basis to begin the semester, with the opportunity to add more later in the year depending on interest. The chat in Climate Cafés® often leads to exciting ideas, projects and action. They are a great place to feature and connect with local projects and initiatives, support new businesses and hear from others taking action.
