The College of Education & Human Development Career Fair is for students and alumni seeking full-time and part-time roles. A Career Fair is an opportunity for you to meet with schools and employers to present yourself professionally and build your network.
Students and alumni should be sure to:
- Research the list of participating schools and employers before the Career Fair.
- Get your resume reviewed in advance and bring copies with you to the Career Fair.
- Prepare your 30 second introduction (aka your Elevator Pitch).
- Dress in professional attire. Schedule an appointment @ The Wardrobe for free professional attire.
- Ask for business cards and/or take note of the names/roles of all of the individuals you meet with and send a THANK YOU note promptly after the Career Fair.
