People who make important decisions don’t read academic journals. So how do we communicate with policy makers and industry leaders in ways that they understand and access? As a new scholar, you may be interested in having people learn about your work and use it to improve society. Mediums such as Twitter, blogs, podcasts, op-eds, radio and television are all ways to better influence the public debate and connect with people outside of the matrix.
