Conference: Transitions in the Lives of Autistic Individuals

    Matt Tincani

    Professor of Teaching and Learning Matt Tincani presents "Job Support Strategies for Individuals with ASD: Umbrella View" at the College of Public Health conference.

    In this presentation, Dr. Tincani will describe his interdisciplinary research, funded by the National Science Foundation, to explore strategies to help neurodivergent people attain jobs in information technology fields. He will overview the employment landscape for autistic people, describe supports to help this population gain employment, and overview the results of a comprehensive review of job support research, with critical implications for practice, policy and scholarship.
