It is with great excitement and anticipation that we announce that the Aramark Student Training And Recreation (STAR) Complex is set to open on August 17, 2017. The new facility will provide much needed space for our students in the areas of physical therapy, occupational therapy, recreation therapy and athletic training. The building, located at 15th Street and W. Montgomery Avenue, will feature two floors of technology-enhanced lecture and lab space, a multipurpose room for wheelchair sports and biomechanics labs, as well as an ADA Accessible Living Suite for ADL instruction.
From 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., university and college leadership, faculty, administration, alumni and students are invited to our Public Health Expo. The Expo will include interactive tours of our new classroom space followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception at 6 p.m. The STAR Complex is located at 1816 N. 15th Street.
