The Criminal & Social Justice Career Fair is an opportunity for students and alumni to present yourselves professionally to a potential employer, while showcasing your communication skills.
The fair is open to ALL students and alumni from all schools and colleges.
At a Handshake virtual fair, there's no waiting in "line" to meet employers! You have the option to meet through scheduled 1:1 sign-ups or in a group session where you can learn more about the company and share your profile.
The keys to a successful virtual career fair experience are preparation and follow up. Here is a checklist to help you get prepared:
-
Get your resume reviewed & prepare your brief intro by scheduling an appointment with a career coach in Handshake
-
Update your Handshake profile up & set your profile privacy setting to “Community” (a must for scheduling with employers)
-
Research the list of participating employers and sign up for 1:1 & group sessions
