Guest Artist Petra Kuppers presents her Crip/Mad Archive Dances. This event is free, no tickets required. Registration is requested.
This project excavates and addresses the creativity of disabled and mad presences in cultural histories and in dance archives through participatory performances grounded in disability culture.
The performance will be followed by a panel discussion on "Dancing Abilities" beginning at 2:15 pm. Moderator Connie Vandarakis will be joined by Petra and other artists working in the field, including Temple alumni.
This event is co-hosted by the Tyler School of Art and Architecture's Access in Art and Design series, presenting programming on accessibility and inclusivity in creative fields.
