Huma Bhabha was born in Pakistan in 1962 and lives and works in Poughkeepsie, NY.
Her concerns include war, colonialism and displacement. Primarily tactile sculpture, but also photography and drawing comprise her practice. Solo exhibitions include PS1/MOMA, NY, The Aldrich Museum, CT, and the Aspen Art Museum, CO. Group exhibitions include the Whitney Museum of American Art, NY , MoMA, NY , the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NY and the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris, France.
