Please join us for an academic conference on Cuba in War and Peace.
Our first goal is to gather first-rate scholars who are engaged with these kinds of questions in their works on Cuba and offer them a friendly environment in which to exchange ideas and reflect on the island’s history and future. Secondly, we want to put Temple University in the spotlight by discussing contemporary relevant topics. Finally, in a year we want to publish an edited volume with the participant’s papers to reach a wider audience and contribute more significantly to the study and understanding of Cuba, a close neighbor to the United States and a crucial player in the world stage.
The following document contains all of the goals, participants and full description of the conference.
