Dance Studies Colloquium: A Collaborative Festschrift Seminar Series in Conversation with May Joseph and Joseph Roach

    The Institute of Dance Scholarship, Department of Dance and Boyer College of Music and Dance, with co-sponsorship from the Center for the Humanities at Temple, present A Collaborative Festchrift, a seminar series in two parts. This second seminar celebrates the revised edition of Mark Franko’s The Dancing Body in Renaissance Choreography: Kinetic Theatricality and Social Interaction (1986/2022) at Atheneum.

    Part two is led by Mark Franko, Laura H. Carnell Professor of Dance at Temple University, with introduction by May Joseph (Pratt Institute) and concluding remarks from Joseph Roach (Yale University).
