Celebrate the 750th anniversary of Dante's birth by attending a marathon reading of the Divine Comedy. The event hopes to introduce the Temple and Philadelphia communities to the medieval text and seeks to promote and celebrate Italian culture. 

Students may enjoy pizza and gelato as they stop by our designated information areas to gather insight on Italy, study abroad, employment opportunities, and network with Italian and Italian American businesses and associations in Philadelphia.

In addition, we have partnered with Dr. Deborah Confredo and the Boyer College of Music and Dance to welcome three Italian representatives from the Associazione Nazionale Bande Italiane Musicali Autonome Piemonte who will be visiting the Boyer College of Music and Dance in order to continue conversation regarding a partnership towards the continued development of music education in Italy and the US. A 1-day conference will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 7: "Musica per la Vita - Music for Life!" In the morning, the Italian delegates along with directors and participants in local community bands will take part in round-table discussions. In the evening, a performance will be held in the Temple Performing Arts Center.
