De-Mystifying USAjobs.gov (Finding and Applying for Jobs in the Federal Government)

    The Career Center

Endless acronyms? Strict deadlines and/or application quotas? Resumes with number of hours worked?

Applying to work for the federal government can sometimes feel mysterious. Join Joseph MacNeal from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management for an insider’s tour of USAjobs.gov and hear tips on how to secure a job with a federal agency.

During this session, he will cover: creating a USAjobs.gov profile, Hiring Paths available to recent grads, application requirements, the interview process, pay scale & job grades and how to stand out from the competition. It is easier than it seems.
