Alumni Spotlight: Service to Man

Please join us for a presentation of Service to Man, co-directed and produced by FMA alumnus Aaron Greer (MFA '02). The film won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the American Black Film Festival and the Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature at the Tallgrass International Film Festival. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A with Greer, lead actors Christopher Livingston and Morgan Auld, moderated by Professor Jeffrey Rush.
Two outsiders from radically different backgrounds struggle to find common purpose within the pressure cooker of Nashville’s all-black medical school in the 1960s.

The Department of Film and Media Arts finds a new screening venue: the historic Temple Performing Arts Center on Broad Street. Enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and drinks with live music provided by Boyer College of Music and Dance students, followed by screenings of original and inspiring films.
