The Fourth Annual Disability and Change- Representation in the Arts and Media; Self Representation vs Conventional Representation. A one-day, interdisciplinary conference focusing on cultural equity and disabilty.
Five panels will discuss a variety of topics on on the visual arts and media. Highlights: Local artist Carol Saylor will bring tactile art for all to experience; Ariell Johnson, owner of Amalgam Comics and Coffe Shop in Philadelphia will be included on a panel on the graphic novels and comics; and representatives from The Warhol Musem and the Philadelphia Museum of Art will discuss accessiblity in a museum setting.
