On the heels of the Tokyo games and looking forward to Beijing and the future of the most iconic global sports competition, faculty experts from Temple’s campuses in Japan, Italy and the U.S. discuss how global disruption has affected the Olympic games and the Paralympics. Panelists will address topics such as the effects of the global pandemic, social media, inequities and economic implications, and will consider how disruption may present opportunities for the future of the sport.
