It is that time of the month again! This month’s DLP Social will have a focus on Mindfulness. Mindfulness is defined as the basic human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. As the end of the semester approaches and preparation for finals are around the corner, we are more likely to need some stress management practice. We will have Galen Born a licensed social worker from the Tuttleman Counseling Services (TCS) talk to us about using mindfulness to manage stress and strengthen wellness. Everyone is welcome and we will have free food and giveaways!
