    Dr. Ugo Mondini will explore the role of Byzantine Greek poetry in the cult of the Mother of God, tracing its intersections with music and visual art. His lecture highlights the interplay of word, sound, and image in shaping devotion and artistic expression in Byzantium.

    This event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Art History Department at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture, with support from Temple University's General Activities Fund (GAF).
