Temple Contemporary is pleased to welcome Ebony G. Patterson, whose mixed-media works revolve around questions of identity and the body. Patterson will be creating new work in collaboration with the Glass and Fibers & Material Studies Departments during her time here. She will be speaking on Monday, October 19 about her studio practice and the inspirations for her latest work, which creates memorials for women of color who died violently.
This event is supported by the Fibers & Material Studies, Glass, Photography, and Visual Studies Departments at Tyler School of Art, and by General Activities Funds. Image courtesy the artist.
