Join us for a discussion that will examine how emerging technologies are reshaping approaches to healthcare education, practice, and design. Bringing together healthcare educators, a Katz School of Medicine student, and even an architect, the discussion highlights projects supported by Temple University Health Sciences Libraries’ Innovation Space, an interdisciplinary hub for applied research and experimentation, and Charles Library. Panelists will present work in medical 3D printing, virtual reality applications in medical training, and investigations into the emotional and cognitive impacts of architectural environments in VR. By situating these projects within broader conversations about pedagogy, patient care, and the design of therapeutic spaces, the panel will invite dialogue on how cross-disciplinary innovation can expand the scope and effectiveness of health sciences.
